Filing Deadlines for November 3, 2020 General Election

The City of Weston will hold an election November 3, 2020, electing three (3) Aldermen.

July 18, 2020 - First Day to File for Place on the General Election Ballot

August 17, 2020 5PM - Last Day to File for Place on the General Election Ballot

August 21, 2020 - Last Day to File a Declaration of Write-in Candidacy

October 5, 2020 - Last Day to Register to Vote

November 3, 2020 - Election Day

The City of Weston ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.  THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 31.50 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $0.00.This means the City will receive 31.50% more in tax revenue this year. Our property tax rate is unchanged for the sixth year at $00.36 per $100.00 valuation.
