- Consider and Act on R-2026-01-01 Establishing a Policy for the Placement of Financial Reports on the Town Council Regular Meeting Agendas and on the Website. (CM Harrington)
- Consider and act to approve and authorize the WFD Brush Truck purchase agreement by and between the Town of Weston and Firetrucks of Texas utilizing TAMU Forest Service grant for funding purchase of a brush truck (~$75,000 Town portion – Grant ~$265,000) and authorizing the Mayor to take all steps necessary to effectuate the same. (Mayor)
- Consider and act to approve and authorize the WFD equipment purchases in order to utilize TAMU Forest Service grant for “Fire and Rescue Equipment” (~$1,250 Town portion – Grant ~$25,000) and authorizing the Mayor to take all steps necessary to effectuate the same. (Mayor)
- Consider and act to approve and authorize the Master Professional Services Agreement (MPSA) by and between the Town of Weston and Gradient Leadership Solutions, LLC for fiscal planning, accounting services, compliance, and risk management and authorizing the Mayor to take all steps necessary to effectuate the same. (Mayor)
- Consider and act to approve and authorize the Professional Services Agreement by and between the Town of Weston and Zactax, a division of Eight 20 Consulting LLC (dba Zactax) in order to provide strategic planning, economic development strategy, long-range financial forecasting, alternative revenue strategies, and tax analysis and modeling and authorizing the Mayor to take all steps necessary to effectuate the same. - Consider and act to approve and authorize the agreement by and between the Town of Weston and Bluebird Medical Enterprise, LLC d/b/a Allegiance Mobile Health for ambulance and emergency medical services and authorizing the Mayor to take all steps necessary to effectuate the same. (Mayor)
- Consider and act on any item in Executive Session. (Mayor)
5. EXECUTIVE SESSION
As authorized by Chapter 551, Section 551.071 and 551.074 of the Texas Government Code (Consultation with Town Attorney), this meeting may be convened into closed Executive Session for the purposes of seeking confidential legal advice from the Town Attorney on any agenda item herein. Additionally, pursuant to Texas Government Code, Annotated, Chapter 551, Subchapter D, Texas Open Meetings Act (the “Act”), Council will recess into Executive Session (closed meeting) to discuss the following:
- Personnel Matters §551.074: to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee; or to hear a complaint or charge against an officer(s) or employee(s):
- City Secretary
- Contract Personnel
- Potential Interim City Secretary
Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.129, Weston may use a telephone conference call, video conference call, or communications over the Internet to conduct a public consultation with its attorney in an open meeting or a private consultation with the Town Attorney in a closed meeting.
